Casa da Ponte exceeded all expectations. The surrounding garden offered a picturesque setting, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The former wool factory turned holiday home was charming, with a balcony and cozy living area complete with a fireplace, ideal for relaxing evenings. The hosts' warmth made us feel right at home, despite the language barrier. The city of Covilhã was a quick 45-minute drive away, providing easy access to the ski slopes, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure for our group. The comfortable rooms with mountain or river views, along with the thoughtful amenities, made our stay truly memorable. If you're looking for a unique and cozy retreat in the heart of Portugal, Casa da Ponte is the place to be.
